PCHyp & CHyp Training Course Module Details

Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certificate Course

Learning hypnosis is an experiential process, therefore you learn by doing; both hypnotising someone and being hypnotised. These 2 day practical course modules give you an opportunity to practice the techniques that you have learned on the course, share your experiences and interface with other students. Hypnotic scripts and video demonstrations of the techniques from the course will also be made available to you indefinitely with no time limits.

These six (6) course modules make up a complete programme of learning, leading to a Practitioners Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (PCHyp). Once you complete the introductory module you can progress onto the Introduction to Hypnotherapy Practice module, followed by hypno-analysis and psycho-dynamic hypnotherapy, behavioural hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy and other specialist topic areas of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

Successful completion of these 6 modules provides you with enough training which will allow you to begin practising as a hypnotherapist.

The CHyp online course is the exact same course as the PCHyp, except for the classroom attendance/participation component.

INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL HYPNOSIS | HYPNOTHERAPY (Module 101)

This first module introduces you to the basic concepts of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. You will learn about the history and theories of hypnosis and the current therapeutic approaches which make up the practice of hypnotherapy. In addition, you will learn and experience hypnotic communications and techniques, that will allow you to effectively hypnotise someone and safely manage their hypnotic trance experience. You will also learn self hypnosis and how you can use this in your daily life to help you with your own personal self development.

Completing this introductory course module will provide you with enough information to help you understand and experience hypnosis. Some students enrol in this module as an introduction to the subject,  which allows them to decide whether or not they want to pursue further training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy. What you learn from this module will be useful and beneficial to your own personal development, which you can apply throughout your everyday personal and professional life.
