This module introduces you to various patient presenting conditions, symptoms and illnesses that can be therapeutically treated through the application of the principles and techniques that you learned in the previous modules. Patient case studies are presented for you to analyse, and you will have the opportunity to apply your learning to formulate treatment strategies for these patients. The completion of this level of training represents the theoretical learning necessary for students wishing to become student hypnotherapy practitioners. The knowledge gained at this level, when combined with the practical learning components of the ICCHP programme, allows students to work with patients whilst under supervision from an experienced clinical supervisor. This approach provides student therapists with a safe and ethical framework to work within and build their levels of confidence and competence.
