The Practitioner Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (PCHyp) is a six module course that introduces you to the concepts, principles and skills required to safely and ethically practice therapeutic hypnosis. Upon completion of this course you will be able to practice hypnotherapy as a student practitioner under supervision with access to clinical supervision and mentoring.
Each of the six modules covers specific therapeutic hypnosis approaches and hypnotherapy topics, which build your knowledge, understanding and skills. The first module introduces you to hypnosis and hypnotherapy, teaching you how to safely manage the therapeutic hypnosis process. The second module expands on the first module and begins to introduce the concepts and skills associated with a hypnotherapy practice. The remaining four modules introduce a set of techniques and therapeutic processes associated with the different approaches and styles of hypnotherapy practice, which includes behavioural hypnotherapy, psycho-dynamic hypnotherapy, indirect and conversational hypnotherapy. The final module of the course teaches you how to apply the techniques that you learned and practised, to treat a variety of physical and psychological symptoms and conditions that you will encounter in everyday practice.
This twelve day practical course offers you an opportunity to practice the techniques that you have learned and you get to share your experiences and interface with other students. During the course you will be taught, coached and supported during your practice, once you have passed your six online course components you will be awarded the Practitioner Certificate (PCHyp) in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. Hypnotic scripts and video demonstrations of the techniques from the course modules will also be made available to you indefinitely with no time limits.
As the course is modular, you are able to join this course at any time, just attend the next scheduled module and carry on with your training module by module until you complete all 6 modules.
